The School’s first 5-day seminar for 2025-2026, featuring sumi-e painting and Zen meditation.
Residential in the beautiful Château de Fay, one hour from Paris in the Oise region. A marvellously quiet place, in a park surrounded by horses.

Arrival on Friday afternoon, October 24.
Departure on Thursday morning, October 30.

Open to all.
For free auditors (leisure courses), the price indicated is for the entire workshop.
Meditation is optional.

There is a break during the morning and afternoon sumi-e practices.

Course of the seminar:

Daytime :

  • 6:45 Welcome meditation participants (7:45 on Saturday)
  • 7:00 Meditation (optional) (8:00 on Saturday, with Beppe Mokuza by Zoom)
  • 8:30 End of meditation (9:45 on Saturday)
  • 8:45 Breakfast (10:00 on Saturdays)
  • 10:00 Sumi-e practice (10:45 on Saturday)
  • 13:00 Lunch
  • 15:00 Sumi-e practice
  • 18:00 End of practice
  • 18:15 Cleaning and tidying up
  • 19:00 Meditation (optional)
  • 19:45 End of meditation
  • 20:00 Dinner
  • 20:30 End of the day

The price includes :

  • meals (breakfast, lunch, tea/coffee break and dinner) prepared exclusively with organic ingredients.
  • painting materials (training paper, rice paper in various sizes, ink and large, medium and small brushes).
  • annual subscription to the school association.

Terms of payment

Please pay the full amount on registration.

N.B: during the workshop, participants have the opportunity to contribute to community life by carrying out daily tasks.

Bring

a medium-sized bowl for meals, a thin 40×40 cm cloth to wrap it in, and a spoon.

  • loose-fitting, dark-colored clothing for meditation;
