First seminar of the School for the year 2022-2023, 5 days, with sumi-e painting and Zen meditation practice.

Open to all.
For free auditors (leisure classes), the price listed is the one charged for the entire course.
It is possible to come from 1 to 10 half-days of your choice from Saturday15th to Wednesday 19th.
Attending meditation is optional. Please note that Saturday morning is taken in part by meditation (see below).

Traditional breakfast (genmai) is included in the price for those participating in the morning meditation (before the morning sumi-e), dinner with the evening meditation (after the afternoon sumi-e).
Lunch is included in the price for those participating in the full day of sumi-e painting.
A break is provided during the morning and afternoon sumi-e practice.

Course of the seminar:

  • 6:45 Welcome meditation participants (7:45 on Saturday)
  • 7:00 Meditation (optional) (8:00 on Saturday, with Beppe Mokuza by Zoom)
  • 8:30 End of meditation (9:45 on Saturday)
  • 8:45 Breakfast (10:00 on Saturday / Welcome participants on Saturday, those attending all 5 days)
  • 10: 00 Sumi-e practice (10:45 on Saturday)
  • 13:00 Lunch
  • 15:00 Sumi-e practice
  • 18:00 End of practice
  • 18:15 Clean up and put away equipment
  • 19:00 Meditation (optional)
  • 20:30 End of meditation
  • 21:45 Dinner
  • 22:30 End of the day

On Monday, to be confirmed, workshop-lecture in place of evening meditation.

Prices:
1/2 day from 10:00 to 13:00 or from 15:00 to 18:00: 35 €
Morning meditation (with breakfast) or evening meditation (with dinner): 10 €
Day from 10:00 to 18:00: 75 € (Saturday from 10:45 to 18:00)
Day from 7:00 to 22:30: 95 € (Saturday from 8:00 to 22:30)
Weekend from 7:00 to 22:30: 190 €
For the students of the School, contribution to the meal expenses: 15 €/day
