The School’s second seminar for the 2026–2027 academic year, a 5-day residential program featuring sumi-e painting and Zen meditation.

Open to all.
For free auditors (leisure courses), the price indicated is for the entire workshop.
Meditation is optional.

Residential in the beautiful Château de Fay, one hour from Paris in the Oise region. A marvellous location in a quiet park surrounded by horses.

Arrival on Tuesday, December 8, in the late afternoon (introduction to meditation after dinner).
Departure on Monday, December 14, after breakfast (it is possible to leave on Sunday evening).

There is a break during the morning and afternoon sumi-e practices.

Bring a bowl, a cloth to wrap the bowl in, a wooden spoon, slippers, loose-fitting dark clothes for meditation.

• 6:45 Welcome meditation participants (7:45 on Saturday)
• 7:00 Meditation (optional) (8:00 on Saturday, with Beppe Mokuza by Zoom)
• 8:30 End of meditation (9:45 on Saturday)
• 8:45 Breakfast (10:00 on Saturdays)
• 13:00 Lunch
• 15:00 Sumi-e practice
• 18:00 End of practice
• 18:15 Cleaning and tidying up
• 19:00 Meditation (optional, lecture on Thursday)
• 20:30 End of meditation
• 20:45 Dinner
• 21:30 End of the day
